MEET THE PRO

Zafran Abdullah

Assistant Golf Professional

Zafran has been playing golf since the early age of 11 and has been in love with all aspects of the game ever since then.
    Zafran turned Pro at the age of 21 and is a member of the Professional Golf Association of Malaysia, PGM as well as the Asian Development Tour and has had great success playing golf on these tours and more recently he has fallen in love with teaching golf.
    "I never really thought I would enjoy being a golf coach as I believed that I was always destined to be a professional player. Ever since starting out at The Els Performance Golf Academy (EPGA) under an ambassador deal with The Els Club Desaru Coast, I was not only improving my game but taking part in trying to better other people’s games as well. The satisfaction of seeing how fast one can improve another’s game is indescribable and I really love to be able to help people enjoy the game and enjoy the process of getting better at golf.” said Zafran.
    At the EPGA we have all the tools to help you with all the elements of your game while maintaining a holistic approach whereby we are able to teach everyone as simple techniques without confusing them, giving them the right simple ideas to improve more than one thing at a time.  
    Outside of golf, Zafran enjoys travelling, basketball, football,cooking and spending time with his family
