The Els Club Teluk Datai is in partnership with The Datai Pledge to conserve it extraordinary natural surroundings.
Effective 1 August 2023, RM10 will be added to green fees to support this initiative.
What is The Datai Pledge?
The Datai Pledge is an ambitious programme of conservation and sustainability to preserve and strengthen the surrounding environment, ecosystem, culture, heritage and local community. The Datai Pledge aims to be an active instigator for sustainable change and regenerative travel through:
– Achieving fully sustainable business operations for The Datai Langkawi and The Els Club Teluk Datai, whilst empowering the local community
– Conserving and regenerating Langkawi’s rich biodiversity
– Inculcating the local community’s youth through sustainable action and education
The Datai Pledge accomplishes these aims through its 4 pillars:
Pure For The Future, Fish For The Future, Wildlife For The Future
and Youth For The Future.
